During the course of 2009, the CGIAR Centers worked together to design the Consoritum of CGIAR Centers.
This site deals specifically with the information arising, and generated from, the two elements of the transition that the Alliance was directly responsible for leading - the creation of the Consortium of Centers and development of the Strategy and Results Framework (SRF) and the Mega Programs.
In late 2009 and early 2010, the Consortium Board was selected and during the first half of 2010 all the Centers signed the Consortium's Establishment Agreement. On 31st May 2010, the Alliance Executive and Alliance Board formally resolved to cease operations.
Information relating to the activities of the Consortium Board in 2010 are now located at the CGIAR website (www.cgiar.org).
Although much of the material is still being kept at this site (see navigation bar to the left), there will be a process of archiving the 2009 planning and design documents taking place during the course of 2010.
