This meeting is the first milestone in the Consortium planning process, as it will be the vehicle for the Alliance to make key strategic decisions about the Consortium constitution, including the Consortium Board and CEO, and the Strategy and Results Framework and Mega Programs

CGIAR Executive Council Meeting (Cali, Colombia) 4-5 June. At this meeting the ExCo members will be presented with the draft Fund operational procedures; the drafts of the Consortium constitution, the Consortium Board Charter and Terms of Reference for the Consortium CEO; SRF Progress report 3; the draft Accountability Framework, and the overall draft charter linking the Consortium and the operational procedures of the Fund

At this meeting the Alliance will select Inaugural Consortium Board members; agree on any non-binding recommendations to Inaugural Consortium Board, and discuss the consultancy report from Phase 2 and decide on its preferred option for recommendation to the Inaugural Board. The Alliance will review final draft of SRF and Mega Program and decide on its preferred initial portfolio of Mega Programs and prepare its recommendations to Inaugural Consortium Board.
